Program/Degree I’m Enrolled In:

I am currently enrolled in the Human Services program at Inver Hills. I am also almost done with my A.A. for General Education degree as well. I am graduating with both in May so I am very close to being done. I am excited but sad to leave Inver Hills.

A Few of My Favorite Things:

A few of my favorite things would have to be dancing, hanging out with my friends, spending time with my fiance (I recently got engaged), and hanging around campus. My true passion is music though. I love to write, compose, and sing/perform music. I sing in competitions all the time and the occasional karaoke nights!!!

Accomplishments:

Right now I am the Co-President of Phi Theta Kappa-International Honor Society of the Two-Year College as well as the Primary Regional President. This is a huge accomplishment for me. I am also the Metro South Regional Platform Alt. for Minnesota State College Student Association (MSCSA). I was the host of a talk show on local television for about 8 months as well. These were all huge steps and huge accomplishments to me that I am very proud of! I also consider landing my fiance who is amazing an accomplishment!

Why Inver?

Originally I was not going to come to Inver but I really had no other choice. Once I got here I fell in love with the campus, people, teachers, and other opportunities. Inver Hills has given me the opportunity to grow as a leader and as a person. I have been given a chance to show that I can do things I never thought possible thanks to the wonderful staff and teachers on campus. There are programs for leadership development that are excellent. The opportunities available to you here at Inver Hills are unbelievable and have made a huge difference in my life.

Favorite Spot on Campus:

I have a few but the ones I spend the most time in is the Student Senate/Phi Theta Kappa Office and the Student Life Office. Besides that I would have to say outside in the grass areas along the mall and the nature trail.
